How much is Amazon Prime in Egypt?
On amazon.eg's Prime page, Amazon Prime in Egypt has two plans:
- Monthly plan: EGP 29 every month.
- Annual plan: EGP 249 every year, which works out at about EGP 21 a month.
You can cancel anytime. If you start with a free trial, Amazon charges the next period by itself when the trial ends, so set a reminder if you only want to try it.
What do you get with Prime?
According to Amazon Egypt, a Prime membership includes:
- Fast, free delivery: free same-day and next-day delivery on eligible items.
- Prime Video: films, TV series and Amazon Originals on your devices.
- Exclusive deals and Prime Day: savings on thousands of items, and access to shopping events like Prime Day.
- Games: free PC games every month with Amazon Luna, and a Twitch subscription.
Prime in 11.11 and White Friday
Prime matters most in the November sales. Last year Prime members got:
- 11.11 (7 to 12 November 2025): 24 hours of early shopping, extra discounts of up to 10% with some bank cards, and free, fast delivery on eligible items, as Amazon Egypt announced.
- White Friday (20 to 30 November 2025): extra savings, instant bank discounts and free, fast delivery on eligible items, according to Amazon.eg's announcement.
Early access means you see the best deals before they sell out, which counts most for Lightning Deals with limited stock. Read 11.11 sale 2026 and Amazon White Friday 2026 for the full dates and bank offers.
Amazon also shows its Super Saver Week code under "Join Prime & Save": SAVE10 gives you 10% off select everyday essentials, up to 150 EGP. See it with Amazon's terms on our Amazon Egypt promo code page.
How do you subscribe and pay?
Amazon Egypt accepts international and local Visa and Mastercard credit and debit cards. If you don't have a card, you can pay for Prime with your Vodafone or Etisalat mobile line, prepaid or postpaid, or subscribe from the My Orange or Ana Vodafone app.
Before you subscribe
- Join a day before the sale: in 11.11 last year, Prime early shopping started on 7 November, so subscribe before it to catch the first hours of the deals.
- Look for the Prime label: free delivery is for eligible items only, and they show the Prime label on the product page.
- Already a Prime member on another Amazon site? Amazon advises people who live in Egypt to move their membership to amazon.eg, for Prime delivery on Egyptian brands and customer service in Egypt.
Is Prime worth it?
It depends on how often you order. Look at the delivery fees you paid on your last few Amazon orders: if they come to more than EGP 29 a month, the monthly plan already pays for itself, before Prime Video and the sale perks. If you only shop in the big sales, the monthly plan lets you join before 11.11 and cancel after White Friday. And if you order every month, the annual plan costs less over the year.
