When is White Friday 2026?
Black Friday is the Friday after American Thanksgiving. This year it falls on Friday 27 November 2026, followed by Cyber Monday on Monday 30 November. In Egypt and the GCC, stores give the season different names and usually run their deals for a week or more around that day:
- noon calls it "Yellow Friday" and runs it in Egypt, Saudi Arabia and the UAE. In 2022, for example, it ran from 20 to 27 November.
- Amazon calls it "White Friday". In 2024, Amazon Egypt ran it from 20 to 30 November, with discounts of up to 70%.
- iHerb starts early: in 2025 its sale began on 12 November with discounts from 20% on selected categories, then from 25% sitewide in the week of Black Friday and Cyber Monday.

How to tell if a discount is real
The best-known trick of the sale season is a "price before discount" that goes up a few days before the season, so the discount looks bigger than it is. These simple steps protect you from it:
- Write the prices down now: make a list of what you want to buy and today's price of each product. If the "White Friday price" is close to the normal price, the discount is not real.
- Compare more than one store: the same product can be cheaper in another store, even after the discount.
- Count the delivery fee: delivery can eat part of the discount, so compare the final price at checkout, not the product price alone.
- Check the return policy: in stores where many sellers sell, return terms can change from one seller to another, so read them before you buy.
Tips to save more
- Get your account ready before the season: create the account and add your address and payment method now, because limited deals can sell out in minutes.
- Keep your first-order code for a big order: first-order codes work once, so don't spend one on a small order before the season. You will find them all in first order promo codes.
- Try the code at checkout: if the store accepts it on the discounted product you save more, and if it refuses it, the product is most likely excluded from codes.
